About the Sultan Qaboos Library

The Sultan Qaboos Library is housed within the IICC complex as a specialized resource center named to honour Sultan Qaboos of Oman, in recognition of his generous support and commitment to cultural dialogue, reflecting ties between Indian and Omani cultural exchange.

The Sultan Qaboos Library stands as a vital and dynamic knowledge hub within the India Islamic Cultural Centre (IICC). It is a space dedicated to fostering learning, intellectual growth, and the pursuit of information among its members.

The Library maintains a rich and diverse collection of approximately 5,000 books, encompassing a wide range of subjects. It houses a curated collection of Islamic and cultural resources, enriched by the contributions of many distinguished members of IICC. The library has rich collections of Urdu and Arabic books.

The Sultan Qaboos Library continues to serve as a building block of knowledge dissemination at IICC.
